Know the vibe but not the songs?
Write it your way, like you would tell a friend. shhhift understands the style, the era and the moment, and picks the songs.
- You do
- Write one sentence.
- You get
- A playlist with 20 songs in that vibe.
shhhift builds the playlist on Spotify or YouTube Music from a text request or a list of songs. You just open the link and press play.

shhhift delivers
Playlist ready on Spotify
The link stays saved in the app. Just open it and listen.
Four ways to use it
Choose how you want to start. Every way gives you a ready playlist on Spotify or YouTube Music.
01 Request
Write it your way, like you would tell a friend. shhhift understands the style, the era and the moment, and picks the songs.
02 Song list
Paste the songs however they are, from a screenshot, a chat or an old list. shhhift finds each one and builds the playlist.
03 shhhift · where the name comes from
Pick the artist at the start and the one at the end. shhhift finds the artists that connect them and makes the change little by little, song by song. Shhh + shift: the switch nobody notices.
04 Migrate
Paste the link of a Spotify or YouTube playlist. shhhift finds the same songs and creates the playlist on the other platform.
Write what you want to hear, paste a list or pick two artists. Then choose Spotify or YouTube Music.
See the suggested songs and remove the ones you don’t want before creating it.
Open the link and save it to your library. It also stays saved in the Playlists tab.
To get started, sign in with Google, Apple or email and password. Already in your browser, coming soon to iOS and Android.
Playlists live in shhhift's own account on each platform, and you only get the link. shhhift doesn't ask for access to your Spotify or your Google account, doesn't read what you listen to and doesn't touch your library.
On Spotify the playlist is public; on YouTube it's unlisted and only opens with the link. Your name and email don't appear on it.
Nothing. shhhift is free and in its early days.
shhhift doesn't require a subscription. To listen, you use your regular Spotify or YouTube account, under each platform's rules.
Open the link and tap save to your library. If you want your own copy that you can edit, use the option to copy it or add the tracks to one of your playlists inside the platform.
